When driving an all wheel drive vehicle, such as this Subaru Forester 2.0XT Touring, superior acceleration, traction, and control come standard. It's not a misprint. And the odometer isn't broken. This is a very low mileage Subaru Forester. A rare find these days. More information about the 2015 Subaru Forester: The Subaru Forester has always been a great compromise between the practicality of a small hatchback or station wagon and the capabilities of an SUV. The Forester comes standard with all-wheel-drive, unlike most of its competition. Base-model Foresters perform similarly to competitors from Ford and Mazda, while turbocharged versions offer significantly more power, resulting in surprisingly sprightly performance. On-road handling is also a step above what is generally offered in this segment. The Forester starts at just over $22,000. Bought my 2016 Forester new and got about $4k off the sticker price. I maintain it very well and do the work myself. I’ve had to replace the shift safety interlock mechanism at around 80k miles, due to occasionally being unable remove the key from the ignition; replaced rear wheel hub at 130k miles; replaced infotainment head (radio) at about 100k miles. Biggest disappointment is the mediocre a/c that doesn’t blow very cold when it is really hot outside. It’s a very easy car to work on and maintain. New cars today are way overpriced, and I dislike the over abundance of angst inducing “safety” features so I’m going to keep my Forester and swap out the engine and trans. with salvage yard replacements when my engine and trans. give up the ghost. - 4.0

Bought my "Pearl" '17 Subaru Forester used in 2020 or 21. The best things about it, hands down, were the great visibility from the big windows, high safety rating, ground clearance and rear passenger legroom + cargo space. It got decent gas mileage for mostly in-town driving. On the highway it had lousy road noise, so backseat passengers can't follow a conversation happening in front. I would have kept it until the wheels fell off, but the onboard computer started going haywire and the replacement cost was hefty for an 8 yo vehicle. Aside from road noise, my main complaints were the awful infotainment interface and tiny (useless) backup camera screen. So last November I decided to upgrade to the quieter, hybrid '21 Toyota Venza.
